"Are you afraid you will crumble as well?" Secrecy spat, but did as she was told. Her crackled coat was glossy as it was plastered with the light rain he had brought. She growled to herself, out of anger and annoyance. She was truly aggravated that he was more powerful than her. "I was just about to have dinner, what about you Azziel? Hungry much?" Secrecy restrained herself not to break his neck, and roll in his blackened blood. He would win if they started a fight, she knew that much.

Azzeil Snorted. "I do not feed on blood, but on grass and other things a normal horse does or like what my sister eats, that is what is different about us to a point. Yes I have a taste here and there, but I do not live off of it. Or do you not know my story?" His voice was deep and dark, but it held no regret for what he had done. "And no I do not fall to it, it just annoys me to no end." he said.
SpirRain watched her family, but her foolish son had to speak up and say,"You weren't getting ready for dinner, I wouldn't let you." but Angel nipped him good and he had shut up. SpirRain glared at her son, but looked over at her grandson, who she had a feeling would become a horse of the Night, but she wasn't sure.

"That just shows how weak the average horse is, but you aren't average are you?" Secrecy spoke yo the night stallion, then walked circles about him. "And what is this little family to you anyway Azziel? Do you have a feelings for one of the low life mares? How precious." She flung her white tail in his face as she round him and made her way back ot her original spot. Secrecy smiled in pleasure as she ignored the stupid foals retort. I wouldn't have let you Ha! How could he have stopped her blood thirsty rampage? Stupid foals and there pity comebacks.

Azzeil pinned his ears back and was about to go after her, when a voice floated to them. "Brother, leave her." Atheona stood on the ridge, looking down. Her mane was the same color as her golden coat and her white blaze was dimmed by the Dark. She was weaker at night, but she felt her brother's rage and had to see if he was okay. Atheona had trotted down to her brother and stood beside him. "Sister, this mare was just about to get her own lesson." he said. but Atheona shook her head. "I am not powerful as you Brother, but she doesn't stand a chance against you." she told him. She looked at the family and SpirRain smiled as she bowed to them and the rest followed her lead. "They are under my protection Secrecy, do not think that you can get away with much. Next time, please do not anger my Brother, he is so hard to handle."

Secrecy set her eyes on the day mare, "Why should i listen to you, Atheona? You are an idiotic mare, coming here at night. You should know better." Secrecy let out a snide smirk as she continued. "Tell me, does your brother have affection for these pitiful creatures?" Under protection? What did Atheona mean? Who was more important that her? Secrecy was outraged that her secret admired night stallion cared more about help seekers than about her! He loved that ungrateful mare that Secrecy was going to have for dinner! How dare he! Secrecy's heart that once held a spark for two flickered down to none. She had no feelings for Azziel now, her eye closed for a few minutes and when they opened, you could see the devil himself down in hell, begging for escape, foe death, from Secrecy's firry soul.

Atheona tossed her mane. She was fed up with this, but she stayed calm. Azzeil shook his head, but gently said,"Sister, leave now. I have this." He nuzzled her, since his heart was always warm to her. Atheona looked at him once more, but said to Secrecy,"No, but since they are my Day Light horses, he does watch over them when I can not." After that Atheona climbed the hill and looked down once more, but turned and went ot her sleeping area. Azzeil pinned his ears and said,"Do not ever talk to her that way." He trotted closer to them, looking at them all closely.
Angel couldn't believe that she had just seen the Day Mare. DayDream was excicted about it as well as Calming Wind. They had only heard stories about them.

Secrecy flinched at Azziel's hateful retort as Atheona trotted away. Then she regained herself and looked to the night stallion. "What confuses me, Azziel, is that you could kill me off right now. Why dont you?" Secrecy snorted, stretching up to his ear. "Or am i, a loyal subject to the night stallion, protected as well?"

Azzeil looked back over to her. "You are a child of the Dark, I therfore keep those who are children of the Dark safe from anything that is more powerful than they are." he told her. His voice cold and hard, with little caring in it. "It is my duty to keep them all safe. My mother forsaw Atheona and I rulling together. But I changed the plans a little, for I am darker than before."

Secrecy winced at his words. She was just another horse for him protect, nobody special. She didn't need company, but now, she needed Denorogon more than ever. She really never trusted anybody like him, even Azziel, but she would probably never see him again. She knew she wouldnt. And so when another stallion, one as powerful as Azziel, tells her that he doesn't care about her? She was devastated, and yet keepsa straight face. She was a selfish, cruel mare, but she had sensatibe places that needed to be addressed. Her white eyes focused on the shadows as she had nothing to say to Azziel. Not now, not ever again.

Azzeil turned away from the group, but as a second thought, he added. "I was forbidden to ever love. I break that rule even now with Atheona and pay the price of loosing more of my soul to the Dark everyday." And then he was gone in a flash of lightening. Standing on the ridge, he looked over the band again and left.
Raging nuzzled Knight gently, as if she needed to be comforted that he was okay and unharmed, but most of them were doing the same, everyone, but SpirRain and Angel. They stood, waiting, watching.

Secrecy watched him leave, her steal heart pounding as the lightning carried him away. Her white eyes stayed on the ocean, and never left. Then the gentle beating of bloody hearts roused her. She locked the lead mare, Spir Rain, in her deathly gaze. "I do not give second chances, but you have bean saved by the day mare. Leave my territory or i shall kill you." Her eyes threatening, and truthful. She didn't care if she was punished or if they were under protection. She wasn't sure if she believed in the legends anymore, but she couldn't bring herself to say it aloud. She raised her lip into a snarl. "LEAVE!" She lunged out at the mare, furry rising within her.

SpirRain smiled and stepped to the side. "I like it here, but we will leave." She turned, but looked back, knowing that she was facing death in the eyes and said,"For now." and she led the band away. Pulling the foals away from the shore and ocean.

Smart allick mare, let her come back. When they have no protection. Secrecy smiled and watched them leave, then turned and galloped back to her ship. Crashing through the water, climbing the wood plank and standing at the front. She reared and let te band know that she was the fear. She neither into the air, the salty wind carrying her words feurcly as it blew at them. "Come back, my little toys. Come back and seek death."

Stopping, SpirRain turned and reared, letting out a fierce neigh back to the mare. Landing, she said,"Then let it come, for I do not fear you nor death." She turned back to her family and herded them away and to a secret cave she had seen on the way into the land.
The foals cuddled together, sharing thier warmth with each other. Raging had laid down, but Knight was standing above her, protecting her from everything. Champion and Andy were just talking about the events that the day had held, but Brave Angel Join neither of them or any of them, he stood at the edge of the cave, watching into the night. He was lost feeling on the inside, because right now, if his herd had survived the rest of the horses here did, he would have his mare and foal right now with him and that was what he was feeling right now. He knew Angel wanted NightSky with her right now, as well as his mom wanted Black As The Midnight Sky, his father with her now, but she didn't show it, so neither would he. He let out a great sigh and looked at his family, bbut he smiled after he saw the two little yearlings that were bonding so close together.
Angel and SpirRain were talking. "Mom, how can we do this?" she had asked, but her mom shook her mane. "It will be me. You and your brother are older now and I don't have to always be with you. If anything goes wrong, I want you to lead them out of here.." "But mom, I will not let you stay here to face her alone." Angel argued. "My Sweet Angel Wings, what can you do?" SpirRain asked with gentle eyes. Angel shook her mane and she looked out to the ship that Secrecy was standing or sleeping on and she shook with fear of what may come to them in the morning. "I don't know what tomorrow will hold, but I hope that we will survive it. This isn't like how the humans had come and torn our herd apart and killed half the horses or mostly all the horses that were in our care."

Secrecy knew they wouldn't leave, it was clear as the water that swarmed her feet. She was heading over to their last meeting place, to sniff them out like a bloodhound. Her ears up and erect, nostrils flaring as the sand wavered its way into her nose. She sneezed and it was, in her opinion, most unattractive. She rolled her eyes back and regained her facial expression as she noticed the small cave, shadowed and hidden. Inside of a cliff, a cliff were she could hide, then spring. Secrecy chuckled and made a large semi circle, going to the cliffs.
