Angel Wings use to be lead mare of the Night Angel herd, lead by her stallion NightSky. One day humans had come to take the herd and when her and NightSky wouldn't let them, they came started to kill the horses. NightSky hide Angel who was pregnant with their foal, but she didn't want him to leave. NightSky risked his life for her and their herd, but he was killed. Now Angel is taking the remaining members of the herd in search of a new land and herd.

Brave Angel had his own herd when he knew his sister was well taken care of and he knew that Knight, Andy
and Champion were there to keep her safe. He soon had a family and a herd that was his pride and joy, but one day trouble hit his land hard, all of his herd and his pregnant mare were killed, he had heard something about the NightAngel herd and leaving his land, he galloped back to his homeland, where his sister was. When he got there, he saw the same thing that had happened to his herd. NightSky had galloped right in front of him when a gun was aimed at him. It killed NightSky right there.

Raging Lightening was wounded when the NightAngel herd was killed and her young daughter was beside her. After she healed, she looked for Knight's body, never finding it, it gave her hope that he was still alive. She took her 6 month old daughter and looked for her stallion, but in the mean time, she had found Andy not once did she think it was Knight.
