StarLight soared over the land that the Alicorn of the Moon had shown him. He was ahppy with this land and he landed on the ridge that the waterfall is and rears, calling his claim out in a might neigh. His white wings were floded against his body as he still lashed out his hooves.
Description:Moutains and ridges cover the land, trees along the lake shore that has a waterfall the falls between two ridges that the stallion stands on to watch the herd. Lush meadows for grazing, but thunder tries to claim the sky, but has a battle against Lightening that has also claimed the sky, this more then likely happens at night, a light but welcoming rain comes once a week, maybe a few more times, but the stallion enjoys the mountains of his.

Sweeper just adored being in the clouds enough as it was, but to be were he could see just the peeks of the mountains below him, that was enough to make him giddy. Movement caught his brown eye and he looked below the clouds. A horse, nothing special. But there was something on its head, a....horn? Interesting. He cantered after the moving target, his feet blowing bits of cloud behind him, he improved the starlight just enough to see the shadowy figure. "What fun, what fun."

StarLight felt he was being followed, one of the many feelings he had learned from the Alicorn of the Moon had taught him. StarLight smiled to himself and soared a little higher, knowing that Moon and Star could take care of what little herd he did have. He started to wonder what this other horse wanted. Pushing the air with his white wings, he started up and he knew that once he was above the clouds, he would be able to know what this other horse wanted. He tilted his head down and he could barely make out Star's flaming body and Moon's black one. He had taken in these horses when he saw how hard of lives they had had.
Rodeo, Jazane and the twins were slowly following Star and Moon at an easy canter. "Jazane, are you okay?" Rodeo asked her daughter but Jazane just smiled and nodded to her mom. As for Dream and Rain, they were mainly close together after they had a hard time. They just wanted to be accepted and loved for once in their lives. They knew that StarLight was a kind and gentle stallion.

Sweeper trotted among the clouds, the small band was a sorry sight, only the one stallion looked to be well fed and happy. Sweeper saw the winged horse flap his wings, and in instants he would be eye level with him. Sweeper panicked, the moon was only a quarter out so he didn't know what power to use. He looked around, his mane tossing, just adding the dramatic effect. The stars were dim tonight, and in that same second he realized what he would do. Sweeper had never bean socially active, in fact, he always stalked them form afar, never actually meeting them face to face. If a horse suspected him, he would run away, into the misty cloud. He hadn't talked to a horse in at least two years, and he was afraid to actually meet one. He could see the tip of the horses horn now.

"StarLight!" Star had called. She was worried about Dream, who seemed to sense that a stallion besides the Moon was around. Unaware that she was making the night hotter, Star was trotting a circle around the small herd.
StarLight had heard the call and swirled down to the mare that had come to trust him. Dream had heard StarLight come to them and she lowered her head, ready to move if something skitted to them. She hated that she was like this, but as soon as Rain had put her head over Dream's back, she relaxed a bit. "Dream, are you okay?" StarLight asked as he come over to the twins, his head lowered, his ears forward and he stopped about four steps away from them. Jazane had come up and nuzzled StarLight, which he gently returned to the yearling filly. Looking back at Dream, he said,"There is a stallion around, but you have nothing ot fear, he doesn't seem to be coming down any time soon." he told her. Dream let out a sigh of relief and nodded as she brought her head up. StarLight did look up at the sky once more, but shook his mane.

Sweeper relaxed as the horn disappeared with a startling cry. Alas, he had bean noticed and was stranded on a small cloud. The mountain peak was exactly below him now, and he was completely exhausted from his shock. He stuck his head in the cloud and looked below him to see the whole herd. His eyes fell on the one mare he found pretty, the painted mare. She was a darling creature, but seemed afraid of nearly all. He saw the resemblance between him and her, but also a difference. His urge was to go down and meet her, but he was so nervous that his eyes darted from cloud to cloud, looking for an escape from his own thoughts.
In the end, Sweepers wants won. He cantered his fastest about a half mile ahead of the horses and he lowered himself from the clouds. The open air was thicker towards the ground, and he felt suffocated. Lowering himself took a great deal of energy and he was doubting himself now. Maybe i should reconsider this... He thought, but was interrupted by just how tired he was. Even if he wanted to, which he really wanted to, he couldn't go back into the safety of the clouds anyway. The band was closer now, in sight. He tensed and stood breathless were he was. A sky stallion is not meant to set foot on ground, and yet i do. For what?

StarLight smiled and tunred, folsing his wings in, he started off. Moon was beside him and said,"Want me to scout ahead?" StarLight shook his head. "No, let's let one of the others, let them feel like they are part of what keeps us all together and safe." he said as he looked over at Moon. Star smiled and looked behind her. "Alright, who wants to help me look ahead to make sure nothing is out there?" Painted Raine and Painted Dream trotted up, ibut instead of Star going with them, they went on their own. But Star knew, heck everyone knew that Rain was as protective of her sister as a stallion was with his herd.
Painted Rain and Pained Dream amiled and dashed ahead, looking, searching for something that could hurt them. Rain had went one way and Dream went right to him, unaware that the stallion was there. But as soon as she saw his figure, she stood still, her legs locked in place. She had pinned her ears back, but it was clear to see that she could not move, for her fear was stronger then her will to move.

The pretty mare looked terrified, horror struck. Was he that bad? Sweeper pinned his ears back and lowered his head, the best submission he could do. He spoke in a soothing but unused voice. "I mean you no harm, please, forgive my wrong behavior." His heart sank as the mare was this afraid of him. Sweeper looked at a single star and pin pointed were the he wanted its dim light to go. The night air was clean and fresh, but thick to him, so it took effort to breathe. He turned his head as he made the star shine brighter on him, so that he could be seen. From a mile away, it looked to be a beam of light from the sun, or an alien spaceship abducting a lost soul. He thought of himself as an alien, perhaps a good one, but possibly an evil one. People hated him, and he didn't know why. All he knew was that he liked this mare and wanted her, but couldn't bring himself to say it. It was so elementary.

Painted Dream watched him, but she felt her sister wasn't far from her, ready to attack if she needed to. But Dream looked at this stallion. He was telliing her he was sorry? Not doing anything that she saw? How could that be? Shaking her head, she snapped out of her stance and then she called out,"My sister, relax." Painted Rain nodded, but only Dream could see her and then she looked at the stallion once more. She was dazed by how he got the star to shine on him, so brightly. Hearing the hoof beats of the others, she looked behind her, knowthing that they were still a ways away from them. "I am Painted Dream." she told the stallion in a shaky voice. "Forgive me, but I have been..." she couldn't bring herself to say those words, remember those memories. Rain came out and said,"she was mistreated and almost killed by a stallion and unaccepted by the lead mare. I had to fight off the stallion who tried to kill her." Rain said. "I am her twin sister, Panted Rain.

The thought of any stallion trying to hurt this lovely thing was inexcusable, but he kept his head low, careful not to frighten the mistreated mare. "No, please, i am the one to be sorry. I have not had any connection with a mare, let alone any horse at all, in many years. I should have approached you differently." He felt an embarrassed feeling rise within him, but he pushed it down as the starlight dimmed. The clouds cleared and he still felt weak. He noticed the mares awe in his great work with the sky, and he smiled just a little. He was liking this.

Dream smiled, for once in a while she smiled at a stallion, which shocked her sister. "Boy, if you can get her to smile already, you've got my favor." Rain laughed. Dream just shook her head and looked abck to the stallion. "It is alright. I know what you mean. But how could you have known that I was this skittish?" she asked.
StarLight looked over at Star, "Star if you don't stop it with the heat, I'm going to get after you." he called out to her, but Star had other ideas and so did her brother. They loved to make little tornados and rain, which this time it was thunderstorms that they had made. StarLight shook his mane and sighed.
"Sounds like we are in for stoms since Star and Moon are at it again." Dream said as Rain smiled and nodded. "You are more then welcome to stay with us." Dream told the stallion. Why was she acting this way towards him? She was the skittish one who always relied on her sister, so why was she actually talking to him? Confused with so many thoughts goig through Dream's head, she ;owered her head and closed her eyes. This was niot like her. the last stallion after the one who had tried to kill her, she was always on her toes and never letting anyone close to her besides Moon And StarLight.

Sweeper stared in amazement as they invited him to stay with their herd. "If it is fine with your lead stallion." Sweeper shook his head, taking in his words. Had he really said yes to their question? Could a sky stallion live on the crushing ground air? It wasn't that bad when he was around Dream. He felt light and airy, but the ground was hard and cold. Unlike the gently clouds. He looked Dream in the eyes, he widened the stars ray to expand before the two mares and himself. Making in brighter than before. The clouds picked back up, they were overhead. He was hesitant to not gallop up to them, but his crush for Dream was to big. "I am Sweeper, The keeper of the stars and moon. I walk the clouds and live in the black night sky. He looked fondly over at Dream, a loving, caring mare stood in her place.

Rain smiled and nodded. "I'll talk with him now, but more then likely you know who he is and how he reacted to Star calling him to comfort Dream." she said, but trotted off to StarLight. Dream was alone with the stallion, but for some reason, she felt safe. "It is an honor to meet a keeper of the Stars and Moon." she said. She was always looking up at those stars and moon anytime she felt like she was going to be hurt or even killed. Thiose stars were her friends when she needed some one the most and the Moon was like a Mother to her as the Sun was a Father to her. "I always looked to them when I needed guidance and they always helped me." she whispered.
Rain trotted to StarLight and smiled. "May that stallion you saw in on the clouds stay with our little herd?" StarLight smiled and nodded. "Yes he may. I take it Dream took to him alright?" he asked but Rain just nodded. "Good. Moon, behave yourself, as well as Star behave yourself. We have a guest." And with that StarLight trotted to the edge of the tree line, waiting for the rest of them, but the only two that followed him was Rodeo and Jazane.

Sweeper blushed as Dream flattered him so. He cleared his throat and stepped a bit closer to her, but not much for fear he might scare her. "I am happy you like them." He smiled at Dream. His first face to face contact was going better than he thought. His heart swelled the size of the moon that Dream loved so much. He saw the others approach and quickly retreated to his original standing place, afraid he might be punished.

Star smiled and raced from her brother's Coldnees that he was throwing off, but she soon circled around Sweeper and raced to the trees, where she hid. Moon laughed and asked,"Dream, will you be okay?" When Dream nodded, Moon took off after his sister. "Do not worry. They are all kind, thye do not really react until shown they should react. StarLight is still watching from the tree line." she told him. Rain had trotted up and said,"He doesn't mind if you stay with us. But do not mind Moon or Star, they love to play." And then she too trotted off.
StarLight smiled as Rodeo came over to him. "What do you think about this stallion?" he asked. "I have heard of his kind, gentle stallions I think. And they are not one to be around others, so that explains his reaction to you and to us."
